Zuni SEO Automation Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 October 2026
Who operates the tool
Zuni By Zunera operates Zuni SEO Automation for reporting on www.zunibyzunera.co.uk. This policy covers Google data accessed through this reporting tool and related support enquiries. Contact sales.zunibyzunera@gmail.com with questions or deletion requests.
This policy is separate from the shop's customer privacy information. Visiting these public information pages does not authorise the tool to access your Google account. Website browsing, cookies and shopping are covered by the store's Privacy Policies.
Data accessed and collected
The tool uses the Google account you authorise through Google Apps Script. It reads the selected Search Console property's URL and permission level during connection checks. For the current performance report, it retrieves dates, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position for web search. It writes those results and refresh metadata into the attached Google spreadsheet.
The current report aggregates performance by date; it does not retrieve individual search users' identities or create personal visitor profiles. It does not currently retrieve query-level or page-level performance reports. If new data categories or uses are introduced, we will update these disclosures and obtain any required consent before using them.
The requested permissions are read-only Search Console access, access to the current spreadsheet and permission to make external API requests. They do not grant this tool Gmail, contacts or unrestricted Google Drive access. Google handles your password and sign-in. The reporting code uses a Google-provided OAuth token for API requests; it does not save that token in the report or publish it on this website.
How data is used
Data is used to produce the visible search-performance report, assess the website's organic search performance and diagnose reporting problems. The report supports decisions about website content and SEO. It does not make changes to Search Console or Shopify.
Google data obtained by this tool must not be sold, used for advertising targeting, transferred to data brokers, used for credit decisions or used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models. The tool's use and transfer of Google API data will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and protection
The tool runs on Google Apps Script and stores the current report in the owner's Google Sheets file. The report should be kept restricted to approved accounts. Public pages on this Shopify website contain app information and policies, not the Search Console report or OAuth credentials.
API requests use HTTPS. Access to the script and spreadsheet is governed by Google account permissions. Owners must protect their accounts, limit editor access and avoid public-link sharing. Script editors can change the reporting code and should therefore be limited to trusted administrators. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Apps Script execution logs can contain property identifiers, permission levels, refresh counts, timestamps and API error details. These logs are available through the Google project to people with the necessary permissions. Google operates its infrastructure and handles service records under its applicable terms and policies.
Sharing and human access
The reporting workflow sends requests to Google Search Console and stores results in Google Sheets through Apps Script. It does not automatically send reports to Shopify, ChatGPT, advertising platforms or other external analysis tools.
The account owner may allow named team members to read the report for its stated reporting purpose. Sharing a report with an external adviser or analysis service requires a separate, explicit decision by the authorised owner and must remain consistent with this policy and Google's Limited Use requirements. Access to specific reports for support requires the user's permission, except where access is necessary for security, required by law, or otherwise permitted by Google's policy.
Any legally required disclosure will be limited to what the law requires. Other transfers are restricted to those allowed by Google's policy and the user's applicable consent.
Retention and deletion
On a successful refresh, the current script replaces the GSC Daily tab's report with a rolling 56-day window ending three days before the refresh date. This is a reporting window, not a guarantee that every older copy has been permanently erased. If refreshes stop, the last saved report remains until deleted.
Google Sheets version history, Drive trash, copies, exports and Google service logs can retain earlier information under their respective settings and retention rules. The script does not automatically delete those records. Revoking authorisation stops future access but does not delete existing reports.
To stop and remove the tool:
- Delete its time-driven triggers in Apps Script, if any have been created.
- Remove Zuni SEO Automation's connection from your Google Account connections.
- Delete the reporting data or spreadsheet and any copies you control. Empty Drive trash if permanent deletion is intended.
- Ask other authorised recipients to remove copies where appropriate.
For help accessing, correcting or deleting data under our control, contact sales.zunibyzunera@gmail.com. We may need to verify your authority before acting. Deleting this report does not delete the original Search Console property's history or any Shopify content. Google may retain service records or backups under its own policies.
Policy changes and contact
We will update this page when the tool's data practices change. Before introducing a new Google-data purpose or category, we will provide an updated disclosure and request any necessary consent. For support or privacy enquiries, email sales.zunibyzunera@gmail.com.
